The bronze mini top is a relatively new design for me. Modern in design, the 1/2" mini is comprised of a bearing bronze body with a stylized tellurium copper core. The stem features a multi-colored forced patina. These tops are extremely easy to "pocket carry" and will provide years of 5-7min spins.
Hammered copper tops embody everything that I consider "ideal" in a pocket top. Tellurium copper provides excellent weight and durability for a pocket top, while the hammered texture and forced patina ensure that the top will continue to age gracefully through years of enjoyment.
Glowing tops generally incorporate layers of acrylic moonglow in one or more colors. They glow after being exposed to a light source.
Put & Take, or teetotum tops are used for a form of gambling that dates back to Greek and Roman times. The rules are simple: each player "antes up" and adds to the "pot" in the center of the table. Each player in turn spins the top and follows the instruction displayed (Take All, Take One, Put One, Take Two, Put Two, All Put). Every time the "pot" is empty each player must "ante up" and the game continues.
